Twenty years ago, on February 24, 2004, SVIEC was officially launched under the leadership of Jeff Capaccio.  We celebrate our anniversary and remember Jeff through a number of testimonials.

JANET NAPOLITANO

Member of the Joe Biden President's Intelligence Advisory Board. Served as the 20th President of the University of California from 2013 to 2020, the third United States Secretary of Homeland Security from 2009 to 2013, under President Barack Obama, and the 21st governor of Arizona from 2003 to 2009.

JOHN A. SOBRATO

Founder and Board Chair Emeritus of the Sobrato Organization, one of the most successful private real estate firms in California. Sobrato developed important buildings and campuses in Silicon Valley for companies such as Lockheed, Amdahl, Motorola and Apple. He created the Sobrato Family Foundation, to enhance Silicon Valley strength, diversity and economic development.

SERGIO STROZZI

Consul General of Italy in San Francisco. Most recently served as the Head of Legal Matters at the Directorate General for Resources and Innovation in Rome. Previously served as Counselor for economic-commercial affairs at the Italian Embassy in Budapest, Hungary, and as Consul General in Valona, Albania.
