His undergraduate work was done at Stevens Institute of Technology in the EE department and his post graduate work was done at PINY in Computer Science.

His career has always been in in Embedded Systems, and has held positions in Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, and General Management. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Agile Scrum Master. A died-in-the-wool Northeasterner, he moved to the bay area three years ago to join Renesas.

Before Renesas, his engineering services company focused on Embedded Systems and product development. He has worked in the medical equipment field, smart battery technology, semiconductors, vibratory plastics joining, and electronic laboratory equipment.

He moved to the bay with his wife, Gail, and teenage son, Dominic. He sits on three boards: SCU's EE Department Board of Advisors, the advisory board of ECEDHA, and the Hart New Play Initiative operating in LA & NYC. In his free time he enjoys playing the piano, woodworking, cooking, and cycling.
